WGI was founded to accomplish one massive thing: Forever turn the page on illiteracy. With the support of volunteers and in partnership with the world’s most iconic companies, we’ve helped thousands of people learn to read and write. See our work below.

Kuala Lumpur, MY: Joined forces with two local organizations, Yayasan Chow Kit and Desa Mentari Community Center, to launch Read and Rice locally. Taught low-income children locally to read and write in addition to meals hosted by both partners.
